Thank you! i indeed used Sonic the Comic's version of Sonic as a main inspiration for this specific Sonic design, a lot of my sonic fanworks have at least some kinda touch of sonic the comic inspiration.
Aside from my love of STC, another reason i used it as an inspiration was because this version of Sonic becomes like a doom slayer type guy, crazy stuff happens, so i felt it right to use a version of sonic that in some way was scarred, he's flawed, not as cheerful, it's an interesting idea i feel.
