Well the scarf was made cuz I’m planning that this sonic will be born in the mountains

And I redesigned his shoes too look more like the santa claus boots (one of the main inspiration of his design btw)

TBH, Joel G sometimes does design characters that could very well fit into Smiling Friends. With the mixed media, their overall absurdity, they would feel right at home. You have a good point!
